Studio classes are ongoing, join anytime, stop when you are ready. Learn oils, acrylic or watercolors. Select your own subject matter and proceed at your own pace. Individual instruction is available as you need it. Class Limit: 6 people.

WATERCOLOR COLLAGE- 2 PARTS
Create beautiful watercolor patterns and then tear, cut and collage your patterns into works of art.

DRAWING FROM THE CORE 
A fun and playful non-realism drawing experience. Participants will be led through a meditation and drawing exercises to access the deep "inner observer", thus helping facilitate an opening in perception and expanded "artist sight".

HAND JOB- 2 PARTS
We'll make wonderful, whimsical puppets. 1st we'll make papier mache heads and hands. 2nd we'll paint, dress, and embellish our puppets. The last half hour is for spontaneous play w/the characters we've created.

FUN WITH YUPO
Yupo is a synthetic paper that can be used with all water base mediums, but is especially wonderful with watercolors. It is very affordable, in that should a piece of your work just not "work" .... the paint can be washed completely off and another exploration done. No more wasted paper!

COLLAGING AND MOBILS
You'll be creating a mobil and your suspended shapes will be collaged with photos, words, and a fun paper selection. It's time to enjoy being creative, and experiment with a 3-D collage.

Learn how to sell your art on eBay, the largest auction and shopping website online. Expose your work to the multitude of eBay users everyday. Do it yourself or learn how you can consign your work and have someone else do it for you.

CREATING CONTENT ON YOUR WEB PAGE- 2PARTS
If you have been saying you need to build your own webpage, first you need to figure out what you want to include. Learn to dissect the content of a webpage (text, photos +) so you can create your own, about YOU.  Also learn free sources for webpage hosting. This class is perfect for WK members who wants to have their own page in the Member’s Gallery at www.womankraft.org.

This workshop teaches you a series of ancient sounds and movements to help cleanse and repair the body's organs. Learn to maintain good health and deal with chronic problems by using health sounds to aid in your healing.

SHARDS FOR THE SIXTH EXTINCTION
Honoring Endangered Animals
Honor animals that are in danger of becoming extinct by inscribing their names and images on clay shards.  In the spring, the shards will be added to a shrine in Nevada.

REKINDLING THE SPIRIT OF THE ENDANGERED- 2 PARTS
Winter Solstice paper making ceremony. Session one: We'll make paper from Natural fibers and incorporate
the forms of endangered animals in order to create a ceremony during the second session on 12/19/08, when a new fire will be kindled and the paper consumed in flames.

OIL STICKS AND MONOPRINTS
You'll design, using oil sticks on glass plate, a print and pull up to three copies. A final application of paint to "clean up" your image and you'll also walk away with a reverse glass painting.

ACRYLIC INKS AND YUPO PAPER
