VIVA LA VIDA Is it not amazing how some days can be sooooooo long? Earmarked by pain and measured by secret solitude, time marches slowly. Not busy by mundane deeds or running errands, but a pause where one speaks silently to one's own soul and longs for a connection to another wrapped in soft love and compassion and understanding that this life is two truths: pleasure and pain. Slowly, from the ashes, I arise again to Dance because I Must because I Live and Love As I gaze at the vase full of fresh, Spring Daffodils I laugh to myself. We are like those flowers... First closed, then Budding... Opening complete with life And then back to the Earth And maybe.... a seed left behind to bring new flowers and color and magic into the world. Viva La Vida......Si, Ja and Yes!

- My Muse... The Bitch.
She doesn't let me sleep No time to think I can't get that R.E.M blink She says that can wait Don't hesitate! Create... NOW!
She drops acid while snorting crystel meth I think sometimes.. Has no sense of timing Wakes me before the alarm clock's chiming I have wondrous ideas for you
Gifts of spirit for a heart so true.. Better find some fabric, paint and glue... and get paper and colored pencils too. Oh, and make time for some writing I'm not done with you.
Goddess, warrior, philosopher, fool Artist, pilgrim or student at the invisible school? Whatever she wants, I feel like a tool
Coffee and chocolate feeds color and texture|Draw, paint, write and sculpt something wild Reflections of self stand naked like a childIt doesn't matter that responsibility calls If I don't do her bidding, she'll bust my balls.. or tits. Either way, she'll have fits
Untill the birth of our art.. Wet and screaming it wriggles in the arms of the Muse "Isn't it beautiful?" She coos Yours, until it's someone else's to keep I yawn, hoping to count sheep Leave for a while and let this poor wretch sleep.
